Description of the procedure:<\/strong>

Pursuant to the Article 113 and the Article 114 of the Law on Rail Traffic Safety (\u201cOfficial Gazette of the RS\u201d No 41\/2018) TOK-KONTROL doo verifies the suitability for use of structural subsystem elements by issuing the certificate of suitability for use. Fulfilment of the requirements for issuance of the certificate is determined by TOK-KONTROL within the scope of the procedure. The procedure implies inspection of fulfilment of the requirements in respect of submission of required documentation stipulated by the Law and the Rulebook on assessment of conformity of interoperability constituents and elements of the structural subsystems, verification of structural subsystems and issuance of use permits for the structural subsystems (\u201cOfficial Gazette of the RS\u201d No 33\/22).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application for issuance of the certificate of conformity of the elements of the structural subsystems:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. business name, i.e. the name and address of the registered office of the applicant;<\/li>
  2. identification and name of the person authorized to represent the applicant;<\/li>
  3. name and description of the structural subsystem element being the subject of assessment of suitability for use, requested module\/module combination for assessment of suitability for use,<\/li>
  4. title of the technical regulation on the basis of which the assessment of suitability for use is requested, including the number of the official journal in which the regulation was published and<\/li>
  5. initial technical documentation required for the assessment of suitability for use, to be
    enclosed to the application.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Application for assessment of suitability for use may be submitted after the issuance of the certificate of conformity and the declaration of conformity. Assessment of suitability for use of elements of the structural subsystems is mandatory if prescribed by relevant national technical regulation for railways. If assessment of suitability for use of elements of the structural subsystems is not prescribed by the relevant national technical regulations for railways, such assessment can be conducted upon the manufacturer\u2019s request.
    The basis for assessment of suitability for use of elements of the structural subsystems is in-service experience.<\/p>\n\n\n
